Education/Committees

Committees in EWB-UIUC go well beyond internal organizational work. Their purpose as a whole is to educate people in the Champaign-Urbana region about sustainability in various ways. This is a feature unique to our chapter. Participation in EWB committees can be as hands-on, creative, and intriguing as participation in EWB projects. Simply check the calendar and attend a committee meeting that interests you!

• EventsThe Events Committee actively plans and organizes professional speakers and lecturers, workshops, and social events such as barcrawls.
• ExecutiveThe is the Executive Board of EWB officers.
• FundraisingFunds are raised for EWB in general and for specific projects.
• Local OutreachProjects in the Champaign-Urbana area.
• PublicityThe Publicity Committee is responsible for spreading awareness of EWB-UIUC events, projects, and awards. There are many opportunities for leadership in this committee!
