We value your interest, as it is essential to our commitment to advancing humanity and sustainability. Just as you can contribute to our mission, we can promote your company as a sustainability advocate or potential employer of our students. Feel free to contact any of our board members.
As a part of the Engineering Career Services (ECS) Career Fairs, Engineers without Borders currently holds a special section dedicated to companies embracing sustainable development. This career fair occurs once every semester and is open to all ECS Career Fair participants. Contact the Progressive Career Fair (PCF) Chair for further information on how to have your company designated as a sustainable business in this event. Companies such as Motorola and Kraft have found this distinction quite helpful as we provide visuals that make your company stand out. You just need to register through the ECS Symplicity website, and then contact our PCF Chair.
We would gladly be your host if you would like to hold an information session for our students. Our Events Chair can assist in setting up such events.
Any amount of donation is appreciated. General donations are sent through Engineers without Borders-USA on the UIUC Chapter page. To fund a specific project or activity, please contact our Fundraising Chair.
Engineers without Borders-UIUC projects encompass all forms of engineering and range from our own campus to the other side of the world. We could always use help with technical expertise in these different fields. We suggest contacting project leaders for a more detailed status.
Our chapter is seeking professionals who could serve on a local technical advisory committee (TAC) that would review us before we take up new project ideas. Details about this are to be posted soon.
You can also connect to us through the national organization's sponsoring professional organizations. Our chapter belongs to the Great Lakes region.
Support for Engineers without Borders activities shows social corporate responsibility in addition to advancing a business. We urge you to contact us.
